Praying in a Dream: Divine Connection Born from Helplessness

The Inner Voice of Prayer

Prayer is the purest and most honest state of a human being in dreams, just as in waking life. Praying in a dream is usually your subconscious expressing its deepest desires or greatest helplessness loudly without censorship. Regardless of your religious belief, begging in a dream is asking for help from your "inner wisdom" or the universe.

Praying in Fear (During a Nightmare)

Most of the time, when we have a terrible nightmare (sleep paralysis, falling, monster), we automatically start praying in the dream. This is our mind's self-protection mechanism. It is proof that you say "My strength is gone, I need a greater power" in the face of a crisis (such as a slander or illness) that you cannot cope with in your waking life.

Praying Peacefully and Thankfully

If you are praying in gratitude with great inner peace, crying but crying out of happiness in a mosque, church, in the middle of nature, or in your own room; this is a dream of tremendous beauty indicating that a great wish of yours will come true, all troubles are left behind, and you are spiritually purified.

Being Tongue-Tied While Praying

If you want to pray in your dream but cannot gather words or your voice does not come out, this shows that you suppress your own inner voice and do not know exactly what you want (indecision). Your communication chakra (throat chakra) is blocked.
